Community inclusion services offer individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities the chance to be more involved in their communities through activities. These promote their socialization skills, personal development, education, and recreation. Being more engaged in one’s community helps people feel a sense of purpose and belonging as it helps them determine their roles in society and how they can contribute. At DREAMS IN MOTION II, our community inclusion programs are based on clients’ interests and goals. They’ll be introduced to individuals within their communities that share their interests and they’ll also be taught essential skills to help them be more independent.
